Snoopy

Snoopy was my brother's second Boston. There is a rather complicated story about how he got Snoopy. My brother and my Mother both got Boston pups at about the same time. My brother got Pebbles and my Mother got Snoopy. Shortly after Pebbles arrived on the scene, she needed some type of surgery. While she was recovering, my brother would drop her off at my Mother's house for monitoring, on his way to work. My Mom and Dad soon found that they liked Pebbles, because she was calmer and easier to handle. Soon, they decided to switch dogs. (Sorry, I have no picture of Snoopy or Pebbles.)

Raz-A-Ma-Taz

Taz is my Mother's Boston. He will be ten years old around Christmas time. His eyes roll outward, so you can never tell if he is looking at you, or something else. He doesn't really like other dogs, but he loves his cat, Thomas. They chase each other all around the house when it's playtime. Then they lie on the couch together for a nap.

Barry

Barry is my brother's oldest Boston. She is nine years old. His wife calls Barry the laziest dog in the world, and it could be true. Her favorite place to be is on any soft, flat surface, where she can sleep. I call her the "rag doll dog" because no matter what position you lay her in she doesn't move - just like a rag doll. She does like one other thing, though. She loves to go in the car. Almost every time I visit my brother's home, she wants to leave with me.

This is Wilma

Wilma is Yoda's mommy. She is about 7 years old. When she was younger, she ruled the house! Wilma was a real bully. After her mother died about 1 1/2 years ago, she really mellowed out. She is even more friendly with people. Now she loves to cuddle and sit on your lap. Something she has always done is when someone comes to my brother's house, she will pick up the first dog toy or chewy so she can show it to you.

Yoda - May the farce be with you!

Sorry for the fuzzy pic, but Yoda has a problem being still. He is about 4 years old and was born slightly defective. His tongue usually hangs out about 1 1/2 inches on the right side and he has no hair! Even with his shortcomings, he is very affectionate and loves attention. When he was born, my brother's wife wanted him put down, but we talked her out of it. He likes to sleep on a throw pillow on the couch and play tug of war with the other dogs. Went he was about 10 weeks old, I dog sat him while my bro was on vacation. He, of course, wasn't house trained, so I closed him in the bathroom while I was at work. On the third day, I came home from work, to find that he did his duty in the bathtub! It saved a lot of cleaning!!

Peanut

Peanut is almost a year old. She only weighs 12 pounds. My brother got her when she was about 12 weeks old because she can't hear. You would never know she can't hear, because she is usually the first of his dogs to know when someone comes into his home. She goes absolutely bonkers when someone walks in the house or into the room she is in. She wants picked up, but dances around so much you can't get a hold of her. We all call her nut-nut. She beats up on the other dogs and loves to play tug-of-war with people or the other dogs.

Here are some pics of Shiner, as I promised.

My Brother's Latest Acquisition

Shiner is ten weeks old. My brother fell in love with this her when he saw her picture. Shiner was not a freebie!
He got her about a week ago, and she is already ruling his home. She loves to terrorize his 4 other Bostons. He wanted her because she reminded him of our Mother's first Boston, Shiner, and his first Boston, Phoebe. They both had one black and one white eye. She loves to run and jump and sleep. I think her favorite toy is Peanut, another one of his Bostons. They attack each other and race throughout the house all day. They also like to wrestle under the couch, because the other dogs can't get under there to join in. Stay tuned next week for more about Peanut.
P.S. I will add a pic to this later.
